About Texas Bocce Courts
We supply the material a bocce court is actually made of, from the drain rock at the bottom to the blend you play on, and we price the whole stack before you order. Freight to Texas, the Southeast, the Midwest and the Northeast.
What we actually sell
Most suppliers sell you a surface. A court is a drainage structure with a surface on top, and the layers underneath decide whether it still plays true in five years. We carry the whole stack: drain rock, Class II road base, filtration fabric, decomposed granite and the playing surface itself, plus the stabilizers, edging and tools the build needs.
Six playing surface blends are in the catalogue, from oyster shell to granite blends in white, black, red, gold and grey. Blends that are offered in both wet and dry climate versions can be switched when you price your court, because the same material behaves differently in Houston than it does in Ohio.
Where we ship
We are not a national supplier and we do not pretend to be. Bulk material is priced by weight and distance, so freight decides where we can serve you properly. Four regions:
- Texas, where heat and clay movement drive the build
- The Southeast, where rainfall and humidity make drainage the deciding layer
- The Midwest, where freeze and thaw lift anything holding water
- The Northeast, hard winters and a short build season
Outside those four regions? Call us anyway. If freight makes sense we will quote it, and if it does not we will say so rather than sell you a load that costs more to move than it does to buy.
How we quote
The estimator on our home page prices every layer of your court from your own dimensions. It uses published rules rather than a sales figure: aggregate at 1.4 tons per cubic yard, quantities rounded up to the nearest half ton, per ton pricing from 8 tons, oyster flour at 1.5 lb per square foot, filtration fabric at area plus 10 percent overlap.
Those numbers are on the site so you can check a quote by hand. Freight is quoted separately at checkout, because it depends on where the load is going.
